Evansville’s Florey throws no-hitter: Video

Sophomore Morgan Florey got her revenge against Creighton in a big way on Sunday morning at the Plainsman Invitational in Auburn, Ala. Florey struck out 10 and hit one batter in her first career no-hitter.
After losing to the Blue Jays 1-0 on Saturday, Florey and the Purple Aces earned a 3-2 win. The two runs scored off three Purple Aces errors. The last Evansville no-hitter was Feb. 22, 2004, against Tennessee Tech.
Sunday’s game marked the second time Creighton has been no-hit this season.
