Fastpitch News has released its February 7, 2017, Players of the week awards for the NCAA DII. This is the first week of the awards. Moving forward we do except weekly nominations. Hannah Reppert
Armstrong State
The senior out of Loganville, GA had a strong showing at the plate this past weekend. Reppert went 8-16 (.500) over the first five games with three walks. She also had three home runs, six RBI and seven runs. Her slugging percent was equally impressive at 1.250.
Pitcher of the Week
Madison Williams
Humboldt State
Williams, a 2016 All-American, started 2017 where she left off in 2016. The senior went a perfect 3-0 over the weekend. She threw a total of 15 innings with a 0.93 ERA and 21 strikeouts. That helped her team cruise to a 5-0 start this season.
