Brittany Tuttle got her season off to a fast start posting a .750 batting average in four games to open the season. In the first game of the year, she went 2-4 for with a home run, four RBI and three runs scored. The Snellville, Ga. native followed that up with a 3-3 game. For the week Tuttle scored eight runs total while also stealing seven bases.

Senior Brittany File was 2-0 with one save last week. One of those wins was a no-hitter against Averett University. In that game File had 14 strikeouts with just two baserunners reaching base on walks and one on an error. She threw 30 total innings during the week and ended with just a 0.46 ERA.
