FPN NJCAA Softball Players of the Week 4-11-17

Fastpitch News has released its April 11, 2017, NJCAA Players of the week awards. All nominations will be considered and are due each Monday by 3:00 pm eastern time. Please submit to rankings@fastpitchnews.com for review.
Jordan Fortel
Walters State
Fortel looked good at the plate this past week. On the week she was 7-for-14 resulting in a .500 average. Fortel had two doubles, seven RBI, five runs and two walks on the week.
Emily Oestreich
Lake Land
Oestreich went a perfect 2-0 this past week. She only had to throw 10.2 innings to do so. What is impressive was the 24 strikeouts she had while giving up just one earned run and three hits in her two appearances.
