CAA SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Caitlin Sandy • James Madison
Fayetteville, N.C./Jack Britt, Sr., Shortstop

Sandy received CAA Softball Player of the Week honors after leading the Dukes to a 5-0 week with a sweep of Virginia Tech and Towson. The senior shortstop hit .500 (8-16), including two home runs and a double, to record a hit in four of the five games.  She also scored six runs and tabbed six RBI on the week. Sandy committed just one error in 25 attempts last week for a .960 fielding percentage.

CAA SOFTBALL PITCHERS OF THE WEEK:
Jailyn Ford • James Madison
Hot Springs, Va./Bath County, So., Pitcher/Infielder

Ford earned CAA Pitcher of the Week honors after earning a 2-0 record plus a save in the circle as the Dukes went 5-0 last week. The sophomore hurler did not allow a run on the week for a perfect 0.00 ERA during 11.2 innings pitched. She fanned 11 batters, while walking just two in her three appearances. In addition to her time in the circle, Ford hit .500 with three home runs, six RBI and five runs scored. She walked five times for a .632 on-base percentage.

Kelly Lupton • Delaware
Galloway, N.J./Absegami, So., Pitcher

Lupton garnered CAA Softball Pitcher of the Week accolades after posting a 2-0 record and a save for the Blue Hens. She finished the week with a 0.36 ERA, while giving up just one run during her 19.2 innings of work against UMES, LaSalle and Drexel. Lupton struck out 11 batters and walked four. She also tossed a three-hit shutout against Drexel in conference play.

CAA SOFTBALL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
Lacey Clark • Hofstra
Victor, N.Y./Victor, Fr., Second Baseman/Designated Pitcher

Clark was named CAA Softball Rookie of the Week after going 5-for-13 (.385) at the plate and helping the Pride to a 5-1 week, including a sweet of conference foe UNCW. The freshman infielder earned four starts and recorded five RBI, a pair of doubles, and a home run. She went 3-for-4 with a four RBI in a conference win over UNCW in the second game of the series. Clark slugged .769 on the week. The rookie drew one walk and struck out just three times in 13 at-bats.
