OVC Softball Players Of The Week

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Taylor Odom, Fr., 5-10, Goreville, Illinois – Murray State
Odom went 5-8 in a pair of doubleheaders against Jacksonville State and Tennessee State. She hit her first career home run in the first game against Tennessee State. She finished the weekend with a six RBI.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK:
Stephanie Maday, P, Sr., 5’11, Elk Grove Village, Ill. – Eastern Illinois
Maday went 2-0 last week, including recording her second no-hitter in the win over Morehead State. She earned the shutout over Eastern Kentucky. Maday fanned 23 batters over the week, allowing just one earned run and a pair of shutouts. She held opposition to a .148 batting average including holding EKU to a low .091 batting average.
