FPN Presents: Core Softball Clinics
Every summer, hundreds of softball clinics and showcases are put on all across the country. There are clinics put on by college teams, high schools, club ball programs, and instructors in almost every state. A new clinic making its way into the summer softball scene is Core Softball Clinics. Core Softball is different than a showcase, where hundreds of athletes attend and get scored and evaluated on stations and have their data sent to them afterward. What sets Core Softball Clinics apart from any showcase is that the attending athletes will have the opportunity to work with advanced instructors while being evaluated on their skills at the same time.
The Mission
Each clinic is formed around what we call “Core Softball”. Theses core skills are something softball players need to always be working on no matter what level of play. We believe core skills are the foundation for developing more advanced skills. We bring in advanced instructors, college coaches, college players, and Professional players, to teach athletes the proper skills and give them drills they can take home with them.
The breakdown
Core Softball Clinics offer instruction in pitching, catching, hitting, and fielding. Group sizes can expect to be much smaller than those of an average showcase. We believe in maintaining an adequate player to coach ratio to where every athlete receives the proper attention and instruction. Group breakdowns and clinic schedule can be found below.

Clinic Features & Fastpitch Trainer
Core Softball creates full profiles for each player that contains any video we capture at the clinic, staff evaluations, training recommendations and more. That private profile belongs to the player and is theirs to do what they wish. We also support our players throughout the year by giving them access to our Fastpitch Trainer platform that offers weekly tips, videos and information. The platform also allows the athletes to engage with our staff when the have training related questions.
