Top Five Players from Monday: 2018 PGF Nationals
Avery Goelz (2020)
Tampa Mustangs TJ (Florida)
Avery Goelz started the momentum for the Tampa Mustangs TJ in their pool play game Monday morning. Avery ripped a line drive up the middle in the fourth, then stole second on the next pitch to put herself in scoring position. With her teammate moving Goelz to third, she capitalized on a passed ball and stole home to tie the game. With speed and smart base running, Goelz is a player that stood out to me yesterday.
Kalei Harding (2020)
TN Fury Platinum 16U (Florida State)
Monday, in pool play, Kalei Harding had two big hits for the Fury. In the second inning, she hit a bullet to left that rolled to the fence for a double. Later in the third inning, Harding sent a ball to left field with runners at second and third for two RBI’s.
Alexandra Ballester (2019)
So Cal Athletics 16u McNee (Wilmington)
Ballester took the circle for a little over an inning for the So Cal Athletics but did some damage in a short time. Tossing 33 pitches, she managed two strikeouts. With 17 out of those 33 pitches being strikes, Ballester did her job and finished the game in relief.
Kaylee Moore (2019)

Going 1-1 with an RBI on Monday afternoon, Kaylee Moore made her presence known at the PGF National tournament with an RBI and a walk. She was also flashing some serious leather at first and that is what stood out most to us.
Carsyn Snead (2020)
Ohio Hawks Gold Hutchinson
Going 1-2 on the day, Carsyn Snead helped tally one of the three runs on the day. She also had an RBI and no strikeouts. In the fourth, Snead bunted for a base hit to put her teammates in scoring position and load the bases. With great range and speed in the outfield, she made us take notice.
