Top Five Players from Wednesday: 2018 PGF Nationals

Logan Hulon (2019)
Bombers Fastpitch Gold 16u Jones (Houston)

Throwing 61 across the plate in six innings Bombers pitcher Logan Hulon shut out her opponents to give her team a 6-0 lead. Taking control of the game from the circle, she only allowed just two hits and struck out six. As a result of Hulon’s exceptional pitching, she makes our daily PGF top five.

Sarah Reineman (2020)
AASA Virchis 16U (Uncommitted)

Spinning 5.2 form the circle for the AASA Virchis 16U squad, Sarah Reineman threw a total of 95 pitches. From those 95 pitches, she managed to strike out three while only giving up four hits, but no earned runs to help lead her team to an 8-3 victory.

Adele Braun (2020)
San Jose Sting – Perales (Mercer)

Going 2-2 on the day, Adele Braun did work at the plate. Though her team did not come out on top, Braun left it all out on the field.

Mia Cantu (2020)
GA Firecrackers Sewell 16u (University of New Mexico)

Going 3-4 at the plate for the Firecrackers, Mia Cantu brought in a run and recorded an RBI. Starting with a single in the third, she singled again in the bottom of the seventh when her team needed it the most. Cantu tied the game 2-2 then crossed the plate for the winning run.

Eryka Gonzales (2020)
Firecrackers TJ (Uncommitted)

Keeping the Firecrackers TJ in the game for 5.2 innings, Eryka Gonzales was a key player in today’s matchup. Leaving the game due to an unfortunate injury, Gonzales tossed 88 pitches with 61 of those being strikes. She struck out seven allowing just three hits and one earned run. Gonzales showed she can throw hard and has terrific movement on the ball.
