At the plate Kelly Kretschman 1-for-2 with a walk, home run and two RBIs.

Akron Racers (3-4) 9, Scrap Yard Dawgs (3-3) 3 (Box Score)

The Racers bats came alive last night scoring five runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach. They were led by Kristen Wyckoff who went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. The Racers used three pitchers on the night with Alexis Silkwood picking up the win. Silkwood relieved Megan Betsa in the third inning to pitch three scoreless innings. Texas Charge (3-3) 1, Bejing Eagles (0-5) 0 (Box Score)

The Charge plated on run in the top of the first inning and that is all they would need in what became a pitcher dual. Charge pitcher Dallas Escobedo was sharp going all seven innings allowing just three hits while striking out 11. At the plate, Taylor Gadbois went 3-for-4 scoring the only run of the game. For the Eagles, Bei Wang went 2-for-2 on the night.
