ROSEMONT, Ill. – January 27, 2016 – The Chicago Bandits announced today that they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract extension with outfielder and reigning NPF Offensive Player of the Year, Brittany Cervantes, for the upcoming 2016 season.

The 2016 season marks her fifth as a member of the Bandits after she originally joined the organization by way of open tryouts during the 2012 season.

During her time with the Bandits, Cervantes has been called up on to play multiple positions in both the infield and outfield before becoming the everyday first basemen in 2014. Cervantes began last season at first base before eventually finishing the season splitting time as the team’s right fielder and designated player.
