PA Rebellion makes the most of 6 hits in 3-2 victory over USSSA Pride

Both PA Rebellion and USSSA Pride put runners aboard on Saturday, but it was PA Rebellion that was able to take advantage, pulling out a 3-2 win at Salisbury, MD.

USSSA Pride got nine hits compared with just six for PA Rebellion, but USSSA Pride stranded 10 on base.

PA Rebellion held off USSSA Pride, as USSSA Pride was unable to overcome a three-run seventh inning deficit.

USSSA Pride scored two runs in the seventh on a two-run single by GiOnna DiSalvatore. Unfortunately, USSSA Pride wasn’t able to take the lead back.

Jenn Salling reached base three times in the game for PA Rebellion. She scored one run and had one RBI. She singled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Dallas Escobedo got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She allowed two runs over seven innings. Dallas struck out five, walked two and gave up nine hits.

Jordan Taylor took the loss for USSSA Pride. She lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed two runs.

PA Rebellion stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring one run on an RBI single by Lauren Lappin.

After posting one run in the fourth, PA Rebellion again scored one in the seventh. In the fourth, PA Rebellion scored on an RBI single by Jenn, bringing home Lauren.
