Team USA offense too much for PAC All Stars in 15-0 rout

Team USA refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against PAC All Stars, recording a 15-0 victory on Thursday at Hawley field.

The game was decided quickly as Team USA exerted its will early with eight runs in the first three innings.

A two-run double by Valerie Arioto, an RBI single by Kellie Fox, and a sacrifice fly by Jessica Plaza in the first inning and an RBI triple by Sam Fischer and an RBI single by Hallie Wilson during the second inning supplied the early offense for Team USA.

Fischer racked up four RBIs on two hits for Team USA.

Jolene Henderson put together a nice outing. Henderson held PAC All Stars hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six.

Team USA easily handled PAC All Stars pitching as six hitters combined for nine hits, 12 RBIs and 12 runs scored.

Ally Vrcek couldn’t get it done on the rubber for PAC All Stars, taking a loss. She allowed seven runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out none.
