USSSA Pride escapes PA Rebellion behind Cat Osterman’s 9 strikeouts

An impressive effort by Cat Osterman lifted USSSA Pride to a 1-0 win in seven innings over PA Rebellion on Tuesday at Hanover, MD.

USSSA Pride’s Cat kept PA Rebellion off the scoreboard for all seven innings she was on the rubber. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up nine.

Anna Miller couldn’t get it done in the circle for PA Rebellion, taking a loss. She lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed one run.

USSSA Pride’s lone run of the ballgame came in the second inning on an RBI single by Megan Willis.
