Beth Mowins on 25 Year Career, Breaking Barriers, Best Games and Impact

On the 221st edition of edition of In the Circle, Eric Lopez talks with ESPN’s Beth Mowins about her broadcasting career which includes having called 25 Women’s College World Series. Mowins talked about her fall season which includes calling football games for  College and the NFL. We talk about what has changed in softball over her 25 years of covering it and what the turning point was in the growth of popularity of the game. She also shares her All-Time favorite games and more on this episode of In the Circle.

  • 5:19: Mowins talked about calling College Football games on ESPN as well as calling NFL games in the preseason with the Oakland Raiders and regular season games on CBS. She will also be on ESPN’s Monday Night Football telecast between the New York Jets and Detroit Lions on Monday, September 10th at 7 pm.
