Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the softball world! Hopefully, everyone’s day is filled with the three F’s, family, friends, food, and a fourth, football. We give everyone full permission to take today off from all softball related activities. Much of Thanksgiving is spent reflecting on the things in our lives that we are most thankful for. We at Fastpitch News decided to make a ‘thankful for’ list dedicated to softball. Below are five things softball we are thankful for.
- All FPN readers and supporters: We are thankful for everyone who has shown support for Fastpitch News by reading and sharing our published articles from our website and social media accounts. If you haven’t already, please Subscribe to our Newsletter!
- Our FPN Team: Fastpitch News wouldn’t be anything without our team of writers and staff members who make putting softball articles together and talking softball news 24/7 fun.
- College Softball: We are very fortunate to have the opportunity to cover much of the college softball game. It’s our favorite and busiest time of the year. We are thankful we get to watch young women achieve their dreams, learn, and grow by representing colleges and Universities on the playing fields across the Nation.
- National Pro Fastpitch League: On top of college softball, we are also thankful for the NPF and that we are able to cover the highest level of the game. The NPF gives a select group of college players the opportunity to play at ‘the next level’ after their college careers come to an end.
- The Coaches: Finally, to conclude our list, we are thankful for all of the softball coaches out there at every level of the game. From the parent coaches at the younger levels, to the travel ball and club ball coaches, to college and Pro coaches and all of the position instructors and coaches in-between the levels. We at Fastpitch News speak for the whole softball community when we say this game wouldn’t exist without them.
