Nerissa Myers went 2-2 as Akron Racers took home an 8-3 victory over USSSA Pride in seven innings at Akron, OH on Friday.

Akron Racers added three more runs in the bottom of the sixth. Kelley Montalvo started the inning with a single, scoring Schlopy. That was followed up by Ashley Thomas‘s single, bringing home Montalvo.
USSSA Pride scored one run in the top of the seventh to cut its deficit to five. A solo home run by Kretschman set off USSSA Pride rally. USSSA Pride’s Kristyn Sandberg to end the ballgame.
