Michelle Gascoigne’s pitching leads Chicago Bandits past USSSA Pride 4-0

USSSA Pride wasn’t able to score a run off of Michelle Gascoigne during her seven innings on the rubber and Chicago Bandits took home the win, 4-0.

Gascoigne struck out four and allowed two walks and five hits.

Brittany Cervantes racked up two RBIs on one hit for Chicago Bandits. She homered in the second inning.

Danielle Lawrie took the loss for USSSA Pride. She lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out five, and allowed four runs.

Chicago Bandits stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring two runs on a two-run home run by Cervantes.
