PA Rebellion outdone by Tammy Williams and Chicago Bandits, 3-1

Tammy Williams went 2-3 and hit a home run as Chicago Bandits took home a 3-1 victory over PA Rebellion in eight innings at Washington, PA on Thursday.

She homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Sara Moulton was a workhorse in the circle while bagging the win for Chicago Bandits. Moulton allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

PA Rebellion’s Lauren Lappin was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. She doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Sarah Pauly was a workhorse on the rubber for PA Rebellion. Sarah Pauly pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out four.

Sarah Pauly was charged with the loss.

The second inning saw PA Rebellion score its only run on the day on an RBI single by Lappin.

The game was never in doubt after the fourth, as Chicago Bandits scored one run on a solo home run by Williams.
