Sarah Pauly makes 2 runs hold up for PA Rebellion in 2-1 win over Chicago Bandits

PA Rebellion’s offense didn’t make it easy on Sarah Pauly at Washington, PA, providing two runs off of Chicago Bandits pitching on Wednesday, but PA Rebellion’s starter was still able to get the job done. Pauly threw seven innings on the way to a win in seven innings.

Megan Wiggins helped PA Rebellion take the lead for good in the sixth inning.Amber Patton doubled to get on base in the sixth. She then went from second to third on a single by Emily Allard.

Michelle Gascoigne ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
