Strong pitching leads USSSA Pride past Chicago Bandits 4-3

Chicago Bandits wasn’t able to score a run off of Cat Osterman during her six innings in the circle and USSSA Pride took home the win, 4-3.

Osterman struck out eight and allowed one walk and three hits.

Kristyn Sandberg helped USSSA Pride take the lead for good in the tenth inning. With the score tied at three, Sandberg came to the plate and hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Madison Shipman.

Monica Abbott took the loss for Chicago Bandits. She lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed no runs.

The top of the second saw USSSA Pride take an early lead, 1-0.
