Taylor Edwards helps PA Rebellion down Chicago Bandits 6-1

Taylor Edwards drove in three runs as PA Rebellion took home a 6-1 victory over Chicago Bandits in seven innings at Washington, PA on Friday.

She homered in the fifth inning.

PA Rebellion relied on Sarah Pauly to eat up innings en route to the win. Sarah Pauly pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks while striking out two.

Ellen Renfroe ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

The game’s last lead went to PA Rebellion thanks to a first inning rally that saw two runs cross the plate on two doubles.

The seventh inning saw Chicago Bandits score its only run on the day on an RBI double by Tammy Williams.
