USSSA Pride take out Chicago Bandits with help from Natasha Watley, 5-0

Natasha Watley went 2-2 as USSSA Pride took home a 5-0 victory over Chicago Bandits in seven innings at Kissimmee, FL on Sunday.

She singled in the first and fifth innings.

Chicago Bandits couldn’t get anything going as long as Cat Osterman was pitching. Chicago Bandits managed just one hit off of Osterman, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out seven during her five innings of work.

Andrea Williamson couldn’t get it done in the circle for Chicago Bandits, taking a loss. She lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.

The lead stayed with USSSA Pride after the second, when it scored three runs on a sacrifice fly by Amanda Kamekona and a two-run triple by Courtney Ceo.

USSSA Pride tacked on another two runs in the fifth. The inning looked promising, as Caitlin Lowe doubled, bringing home Watley to kick things off. That was followed up by GiOnna DiSalvatore‘s single, plating Lowe.
