In the Circle: Moving from Mountain West to Pac-12 and 2018 Utah Preview with Amy Hogue
On this edition of In The Circle, the guys talk to Utah Head Coach Amy Hogue who discusses the Utes expectations going into 2018 season following 2017 season that saw Utah get to Super Regional and within one game away from the Women’s College World Series. Coach talks about the adjustment Utah had to make when they moved from Mountain West to the Pac-12 and being able to contend with the top programs in the Pac-12.
Next, we discuss the tradition of the program that goes back to when Hogue played at Utah from 1991-1994 and was part of Utes two Women’s College World Series appearances (91,94). Hogue also talks about the facilities at Utah and how that help them host a Regional for the first time in program history in 2017. Finally, she discusses traveling everywhere to play a tough schedule and how it can help them come postseason.
