Softball fans have descended upon Oklahoma City, OK for the Women’s College World Series, and In The Circle is there for all of the action. Eric Lopez is joined by special guest contributor Mark Allister who shares his thoughts on the pitching staffs. Victor joins in from our studios and talks with Eric about some of the top story-lines going into the WCWS. Can the Pac-12 regain their national dominance? Will Oklahoma make it three in a row? Does Florida winning another title make them the team of the decade?
Victor is joined by former Baylor Bear Megan Turk who was just in Oklahoma City for the DIII National Championships. She shares her thoughts on Virginia Wesleyan winning their second straight championship in an exciting tournament. She also discusses the chance of playing on the same stage as DI schools. Megan also gives her prediction on who will win it all.
Afterward, we chat with Kris Knoebel from D2Softball.com who was in Salem. Virginia and saw an exciting tournament which saw Southern Illinois win the national title as a No. 8 seed. He mentions the depth and parody of DII plus some fascinating stats.
Eric comes back in to end the show with a surprise appearance from Justin McLeod to make his WCWS pick and poke fun at Victor being in the studio. We wrap up by making our national championship picks.
