Kelsey Lunn Talks, Inner Circle TV, Renee Gillispie Hiring, Club Ball and Illegal Pitches
On this edition of In The Circle, we are joined by the host of the Fastpitch News TV show “Inner Circle” Kelsey Lunn. Lunn about the TV show and how she went from being a player at South Dakota State to a media person covering the game. We also talked about the state of Iowa softball. Lunn who grew up in Iowa, and trains players there today, discusses the unique softball culture in Iowa and the hiring of Renee Gillispie. She offers her opinion as to what has gone wrong for the Hawkeyes the past decade.
We also look at some other topics in the sport including club ball, illegal pitches and more. Eric and Victor also recap Eric’s exclusive interview with Ken Eriksen on the U.S. National team winning the gold medal at the World Championships and qualifying for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
