Who better to set the table than the nation’s leading hitter and table setter than Wichita State’s Sydney McKinney? She joins the show to talk about her path in softball, which led her to Wichita State. McKinney talks about her growth as a player, The rise of Wichita State Softball, her experience playing for USA Softball last fall, and her post-softball plans at Wichita State.
Also, on the episode, we hear from Monica Abbott, who tells Extra Inning Softball’s Justin McLeod why now was the time to retire. We also hear from Patty Gasso, who appeared on MLB Network’s Hot Stove show to discuss the Sooner’s win over UCLA at Mary Nutter.
