Rachel Lawson, Rule Changes, Kentucky Softball and NPF Trade News

On this edition of In The Circle, Eric Lopez talks with Kentucky’s Head Coach Rachel Lawson about the new transfer rule, obstruction rule, and Instant Replay coming to SEC Tournament. Lawson also discusses the Wildcats successful 2018 and what we should look for from the Wildcats in 2019. The two also discuss her former teammate Holly Aprile taking at Louisville.

Also on the episode, Eric and Victor discuss the blockbuster and controversial trade in the NPF between the Chicago Bandits and the Cleveland Comets where the Bandits traded Sammy Marshall, Shelby Turnier, and Emily Carosone to the Comets for Jenna Lilley and the number one overall draft pick in the 2019 NPF draft. John Wrobleski who covered the Bandits and the NPF for the last five seasons joins to talk about the trade and what it means for the Bandits in 2019.
