Favorite part about playing softball?
“Being on a team and being able to play Division I softball at a big school.”

Impressions of Rutgers?
“It’s way different than my old school because I went to a division I school that had only 300 student-athletes, here it’s probably double the size. It’s awesome to be surrounded by a bigger group of people. It feels like more of a college town and people from the outside are more into sports.”

What’s it like having six other teammates from California?
“It’s made me adjust way better. It’s nice having them on the team.”

Favorite hobbies when not playing softball?
“I like to read, go to the beach and get my nails done.”

Which do you prefer, the Pacific or Atlantic coast?
“The Pacific coast. My favorite beach is Laguna Beach.”

Favorite thing about campus?
“I love living in the Livingston Apartments and being able to walk very easily to the RAC in the morning. The Livingston Dining Hall is awesome – it’s huge and has so many selections. That’s probably my favorite part – the food.”

Game day rituals or superstitions?
“I did pretty well in the fall season. I went 3-for-4 in my first game so now every single game day I eat the same exact breakfast: I like to eat eggs on a piece of toast with cheese every game day.”
