USSSA Pride leaves NPF

The USSSA Pride has officially notified the NPF that they will not remain part of the league in 2020. They have released the following press release:
Today, USSSA provided notice to the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) league that USSSA will not be renewing its partnership with the organization in 2020. We thank the NPF for its contributions and collaboration over the past 11 years and hold in high regard all that our organizations have accomplished together.
As we move into 2020, USSSA is proud to continue our mission of being the most-trusted resource in fastpitch. We look forward to continuing to provide a platform for every female athlete in fastpitch to play the sport they love.
