“We pride ourselves as being one of the better teams in the southeast,” said head coach, Benji Barnett. “We are gritty and strive to be a team that you don’t look forward to playing. We take a lot of pride that we have a very good recruiting following without being part of one of the larger known organizations. Many times, we have more schools at our games than some of the bigger organizations.”

The Twisters competed in the Triple Crown Nationals as one of the youngest teams and notched a 17th place finish and a wining record.

Coach Barnett was happy with how his team’s recruiting increased this summer saying, “this summer our recruiting really took off.  We do not have any verbals. We had a couple players that probably could have, but decided not to, before the rule change.”

Keep an eye on the Twisters, they are a close knit group with a lot of talent who should only be expected to get better with time and experience.
