The 2014 Patriot League Softball Tournament will be hosted by Lehigh University, the regular season champion and top seed, and also feature No. 2 Boston University, No. 3 Bucknell and No. 4 Army. The tournament opens with the No. 1 seed against the No. 4 and No. 2 versus No. 3 on Thursday, May 8. The next day of action pits the winner’s of the opening day in the first contest, follow by the loser’s from the opening day in an elimination game. The loser of game three faces the winner of game four in another elimination contest. The championship will be held on May 10, with the winner of game three needing one victory and the winner of game five requiring two wins to claim the League title. The Patriot League champion advances to the NCAA Tournament.
