TEMPE, Ariz. – The Illinois State softball team’s schedule at this weekend’s ASU Littlewood Classic has been adjusted, due to weather-related flight difficulties forcing Delaware State to withdraw from the tournament. The Redbirds will still play in five games, but against one different opponent and at different times.
The tournament will still begin with a matchup against No. 3 Washington, Friday morning at 10 a.m., CST. The Redbirds were originally slated to play SIUE immediately following that contest, but instead will take on defending national champion No. 11/7 Oklahoma at approximately 4:45 p.m., CST.
ISU’s first game on Saturday will still be at 10 a.m., CST, but it will be against San Jose State rather than Michigan State. The game against No. 5 Arizona State will still be played at its originally scheduled 2:30 p.m., CST time.
The Redbirds will conclude the tournament on Sunday at 10 a.m., CST against SIUE.
