The wheel of spring championships now turns to SOFTBALL, with the 2014 Big South Championship to be played Thursday, May 8th, through Sunday, May 11th. The four-day event featuring all nine Big South softball teams will be hosted by Coastal Carolina University. Games for the first three days will be seen on the Big South Network (streamed for FREE, of course), with Sunday’s final airing on ESPNU.

The host institution has the option to play in the 7:30pm slot on Thursday, May 9 (unless the No. 8 or No. 9 seed). The bracket will be adjusted accordingly.
