• Helped Michigan to a 4-0 week in the first annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge with wins over Florida State and Virginia Tech
• Batted .500, going 7-for-14 with three RBI
• Tallied at least one hit in all four games, including a 3-for-3 performance with a home run and three RBI at Florida State
• Recorded a conference-leading .714 slugging percentage without a single strikeout in all four games
• Claims her third career Player of the Week award and first this season

Pitcher of the Week
Sara Groenewegen, Minnesota
Jr., RHP, White Rock B.C./Elgin Park Secondary
• Struck out 20 batters faced in 16.0 innings of work, recording a pair of wins over Virginia Tech
• Threw a no-hitter and struck out 10 batters in a complete-game victory to open the weekend against the Hokies
• Recorded a 0.88 ERA, giving up only five hits and not allowing a run in 15 consecutive innings
• Tallied five strikeouts in each of her last two games on the weekend with 4.0 innings of work against the Hokies and 7.0 innings pitched at Florida State
• Wins her seventh career Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor and first this season

Co-Freshman of the Week
Josie Wood, Indiana
LHP, Denver, Ind./North Miami
• Picked up two wins in three games, recording a 1.02 ERA
• Led the Hoosiers to a 12-inning victory over Holy Cross, pitching a complete game, while striking out 10 batters and not allowing a single walk
• Retired 11 batters in a row beginning in the ninth inning, including three consecutive 1-2-3 innings to keep the game tied
• Struck out four and walked three in a complete-game win over Delaware
• Earns her first weekly honor
