CAA SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Caitlin Sandy • James Madison
Fayetteville, N.C./Jack Britt, Sr., Shortstop

Sandy collected CAA Softball Player of the Week honors after batting an impressive .563 (9-16) to lead the Dukes to a 5-0 week taking both from Virginia and sweeping Delaware in CAA action. The senior infielder scored six runs, five against the Blue Hens, recorded three home runs and finished the week with 11 RBI after hitting safely in all five outings.

CAA SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK:
Missy McCormick • Towson
Las Vegas, Nev./Palo Verde, Jr., Pitcher

McCormick earned CAA Pitcher of the Week accolades after helping the Tigers to a 3-2 week, while going 2-1 in the circle for Towson. The junior hurler recorded a 0.95 ERA over 22.0 innings pitched, while striking out 22 batters and walking five.  She gave up just three earned runs. A pair of her outings were victories against conference foe UNCW.

CAA SOFTBALL ROOKIES OF THE WEEK:
Sarah Bencivenga • Delaware
Toms River, N.J./Toms River East, Fr., Shortstop

Bencivenga garnered CAA Softball Rookie of the Week decorations after leading the Blue Hens with six hits, five runs scored, two home runs and five RBI over five contests. She finished the week with a .400 batting average and finished the week going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBI in Game 3 against James Madison.

Samantha Martin • College of Charleston
Tallahassee, Fla./Lawton Chiles, Fr., Pitcher

Martin received CAA Softball Rookie of the Week after posting a win and a save for the Cougars as they swept Drexel in CAA action. The freshman held a 0.81 ERA over 8.2 innings pitched, while fanning 11 batters. Martin only allowed four hits and one run, while limiting her opponents to a .129 batting average.
