Gator Softball Announces 2017 Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The back-to-back Southeastern Conference champion Florida softball team and head coach Tim Walton have announced the 2017 Schedule and that the Gator Ticket Office will be selling tickets for the 2017 season for the first time in school history.

“We’re very excited about having a ticket plan for the first time.” Walton said. “This is something that our fans want and that our student-athletes are excited about. We have a lot of fans who come to our games continually throughout the season – so this is a great opportunity for our fans to have their seats for our games against great competition.”

Fans who had a 2016 Season Softball Card can order 2017 softball season tickets beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 15. All other fans will be able to order season tickets beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

Prices for season tickets, which includes admission to all UF home games, will be $150 – limit four per account. If available after the season ticket ordering period, single game reserved seats will be sold at $5 per ticket at a later date. General Admission Bleacher Seats ($3) and berm area tickets ($1) will also be sold on an individual game basis at a later date.

In addition to the individual game ticket prices, UF students and children 12 and under will get in free, allowing them seating in the berm areas. To sit in the General Admission Bleachers or Reserved Bleachers students and children will have to purchase a ticket for those areas.

This year’s schedule features competition that includes multiple programs who reached last season’s NCAA Regionals, Super Regionals and the Women’s College World Series.

“The 2017 season is going to be another challenging schedule for us not only at home but on the road as well.” Walton continued. “We play a lot of quality teams that includes not only NCAA Regional teams but Super Regional teams and World Series teams both in and out of conference.”
