Player of the Week
Sahvanna Jaquish • LSU
Sophomore • IF/C • Highland, Calif.
Jaquish hit .500 for the week to tie for the team lead in hits with eight, while leading the squad with 15 RBI in a 6-0 week in LSU’s best start to a season in program history. Of her eight hits, five were for extra bases, with three home runs including hitting a game-winning three-run shot against Louisiana Tech, and the first grand slam for the team on the year against San Diego State. Jaquish produced five multi-RBI contests and three multi-hit games to her credit, striking out just once in 16 at-bats.

Freshman of the Week
Paige Lowary • Missouri
Freshman • LHP • Dallas Center, Iowa
Lowary downed two ranked opponents in just her fourth and fifth respective career starts. In those two outings combined, she gave up only one earned run. Lowary remains undefeated on the season and has surrendered only five total earned runs in her all of her first five starts combined. The win over No. 25 Texas was the longest outing of her career as she tossed 6.2 innings. Lowary also set new season and career bests for hits allowed in a game by limiting Long Beach State and No. 13 Arizona to just two hits each. Additionally, the two walks allowed against the Wildcats was a season and career best.

Specialist of the Week
Kayli Kvistad • Florida
UT • Lake City, Fla.
Kvistad batted .556 with five hits, four runs and eight RBIs as Florida improved to 16-0 this season. She recorded her first career multi-home run game in Sunday’s finale against Mercer. This contest marked the first multi-homer game by a Florida freshman since Taylor Schwarz hit two home runs against Georgia on May 11, 2013, at the SEC Tournament. Kvistad ranks second on the team in RBI and is tied for second in home runs despite having the eighth-most at-bats.
