NCAA Softball Bracketology March Madness

This week marks start of March Madness for Men and Women’s College Basketball Tournament. With that in mind and programs either starting or already underway in conference play in softball here is the first post season projection of the season to date. Its very early and it will change drastically in the coming weeks but some interesting data so far this season.

Conference RPI rankings.
1- SEC
2- Pac-12
3- Big 12
4- Big Ten
5- ACC
6- AAC
7- Mountain West
8- C-USA
9- Sun Belt
10- A-SUN
11- MVC

Thus far, the Big Ten has had a fantastic 2019. Will it lead to one of the Big Ten teams hosting? Another question to follow is will the SEC have all 13 teams in the NCAA Tournament like last two seasons? Will there be new programs that get to host for the first time? These questions and more will be some of the story lines to follow as the season develops. Here is how I see field of 64 projected based on what the committee has done in the past.
