“I am excited to add Tiffany to our coaching staff and welcome her to the Flyer Family,” said LaPlaca.  “Her experience being molded by some of the elite coaches in our sport has helped to develop her coaching abilities and she is sure to have an immediate impact on our program.  We are eager for Tiffany to join our team as we build on our recent success and continue to make significant strides in our program.”

She comes to the Flyers after serving as a graduate assistant for her alma mater, Illinois State University for the 2013-14 year. “I am humbled and honored to join the Flyers softball program,” said Prager.  “I will do everything possible to serve the needs of our student-athletes, Coach LaPlaca, Coach Willis, and the University of Dayton.  The opportunity to contribute to a culture that has proven to be successful both on and off the field is extremely exciting!”

Prager began her coaching career as a hitting instructor for individual players and summer teams within the Bloomington-Normal area in Illinois.

Prager was a three-year starter and two-year captain for Illinois State University where she played second base. She ranks among the all-time ISU leaders in doubles, sacrifice hits and games played in a season.  Prager has a lifetime batting average of .303.
