MURFREESBORO — Former Blackman High School softball player Breanna Zeis led the Trevecca Nazarene University Lady Trojans to the top seed in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) tournament and a perfect 12-0 conference record this past season.
She was the only player in the conference to hit at or above .500, as she posted a .523 average with 10 home runs, 45 RBIs, 56 hits, 16 doubles, 27 extra base hits and a .972 slugging percentage, which all led the conference.
The senior outfielder also scored 33 runs and got on base via the walk 15 times for a conference best .577 on base percentage.
