AthPro360: April Breakdown
April was a busy month for AthPro360 as they ran a couples combines and testing events in California. USA Athletics conducted an organizational combine while So Cal Athletics held spring evaluations. Athletes ranging from the class of 2019 – 2028 were tested with some turning in impressive results. We’re going to look at how the testing averages shook out, top performers, and more.

Top Performing 2019
Alannah Cran
USA Athletics
California
Cran is a University of Illinois – Chicago signee, a member of the USA Athletics 18U Gold – Rodgers team, and has had a successful prep career.
Cran has tested nine times with AthPro and since 2015 she has climbed from a 3720/12,235 ranking to 193/12,235; placing her in the top 98% of all tested athletes. Her improvement over this time is noticeable and measurable which is a testament not only to age and growth but her development and efforts on and off the field.

Top Performing 2021
Isabelle Fishman
USA Athletics
California
Fishman is another member of
the USA Athletics 18U Gold – Rodgers team who has also been tested with AthPro many times and has made incredible improvement over the past few years.
She has improved from a 73% Rank Index (3351/12,235) to 99% (117/12,235) and she is still just an underclassman! Her power and hitting metrics are what sets her apart: pre-impact speed 72 mph (100%); arm speed 65 mph (99%); right hand grip strength 094 psi (97%); left hand grip strength 092 psi (97%). With time to continue to develop both on field skills and strength on top of the maturity that comes when athletes move through high school – sky is the limit for Fishman’s potential.
Fishman is the highest tested athlete in the class of 2021.

Notable Top Performing 2022
Jami Obringer
California
So Cal Athletics
Obringer tested to a 86.19 athletic index which is good for the 83% percentile of all tested players. Her speed is what set her apart recording a 2.362 flying20 (97%), pure running speed of 17.3 (98%), and a 4.886 agility shuttle (94%). Her bat pre-impact speed also impressed at 63 mph (96%). Obringer is only a freshman and has time to continue to improve and mature but she is off to a great start! If she can strengthen her grip strength, exit speed, and arm speed numbers she will climb the leaderboard in no time.
Obringer is currently in the top 30 of all athletes tested in the class of 2022.

Notable Non-High School Aged Performers
NataNia Leomiti
USA Athletics
California
Leomiti is an athlete from the class of 2025 who has been tested with AthPro six times since 2017. She has jumped from a 52.90 index (5th percentile) to a 74.88 index (45th percentile). The best part of sport is watching athletes grow, develop, and continue to push themselves. Leomiti is a great example of that! Most notably she has added seven mph to her bat pre-impact speed (54 to 61 mph); exit speed (46 to 57 mph); and grip strength (right: 049 to 070, left: 045 to 072). It will be fun to continue watch her develop as she gets older!
Leomiti is currently the second highest testing 2025 in the entire class.

Ariana Rizo

California
Rizo is a class of 2026 product and is another young athlete showing a ton of potential. she tested to an athletic index of 79.18 and ranks in the 59 percentile which isn’t too bad for a 2026! Her speed and pre-impact numbers are what helps set her apart! Rizo is currently the highest tested athlete in the class of 2026.
