Chicago Bandits falls 7-1 at the hands of USSSA Pride

Chicago Bandits didn’t stand a chance on Thursday, as USSSA Pride captured a blowout 7-1 win in seven innings at Round Rock, TX.

USSSA Pride came out swinging, scoring three runs in the first inning to jump ahead of Chicago Bandits early.

Andrea Duran racked up three RBIs on one hit for USSSA Pride. She homered in the first inning.

Keilani Ricketts looked sharp in the circle. Keilani held Chicago Bandits hitless over 3 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out six.

Monica Abbott was charged with the loss. She lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.

USSSA Pride pushed across two runs in both the fourth inning and the sixth. In the fourth, USSSA Pride scored on a two-run home run by Amanda Kamekona, scoring Natasha Watley.
