Chicago Bandits makes the most of 7 hits in 5-3 victory over PA Rebellion

Chicago Bandits and PA Rebellion both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was Chicago Bandits that was able to capitalize on them as it pulled out a 5-3 win at Washington, PA.

PA Rebellion out-hit Chicago Bandits eight to seven, but PA Rebellion stranded nine runners on base.

Chicago Bandits held off PA Rebellion, as PA Rebellion was unable to overcome a four-run third inning deficit.

PA Rebellion scored on a solo home run by Brittney Lindley in the third inning and an RBI single by Briana Hamilton and an RBI single by Samantha Garcia in the sixth inning. Still, PA Rebellion couldn’t draw even.

Kristen Butler had two extra-base hits for Chicago Bandits. She homered in the second inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Sara Moulton got the win for Chicago Bandits. She allowed one run over two innings. She struck out two, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Chicago Bandits was sparked by Kristen and Megan Wiggins, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.

Dallas Escobedo ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

Chicago Bandits never surrendered the lead after the second inning, scoring one run on a solo home run by Kristen.
