Monica Abbott’s pitching leads Chicago Bandits past USSSA Pride 4-0

Monica Abbott held USSSA Pride scoreless for seven innings to boost Chicago Bandits to a 4-0 victory.

Monica struck out seven and allowed one walk and four hits.

Chicago Bandits scored three runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Danielle Zymkowitz went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for Chicago Bandits. She singled in the first, second, and fifth innings.

Chelsea Thomas took the loss for USSSA Pride. She lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
