This invitation only event drew top teams and organizations from all over the country. Our team came to battle and every game was hard fought. We would like to thank all the coaches who came to watch us every game this week. Makes all the hard work our team puts in worth it.

NO. 45 / TEXAS SUDDEN IMPACT 14U – 04

From Texas Impact coach, Ashley Boyd, “We are historically a young, but talented team, with a current roster that is evenly distributed between 2022/2023 grad years. We are coached by a former Pitcher/Catcher Duo at Oklahoma State, Anna Whiddon (Assistant Coach) and Ashley Boyd (Head Coach). A core group of 7 players have been together since early 10U. Perhaps one of the youngest teams in the country in 14U last summer, new additions including three additional 2022’s to this year’s roster provides some exciting depth and experience to an already athletic group. The team relies on speed, with 8 of 15 players reaching first in less than 3 seconds, consistent pitching, and defense. Offensively, a unique combination of slappers and power from the left side of the plate (8 lefties) provides opponents with a unique challenge. SI will showcase a highly desired pitching combination for the 2018-2019 season, speed and power in new addition Hosanna Lindblade, mixing of velocity and movement in southpaw Brenna Kelly, and consistency with precise location from Emma Tatum.”

The 2017-2018 season came to a close with a record of 56-32-7 and was highlighted by a 13th place finish at JO Cup and 17th at Triple Crown Nationals. We are looking forward to keeping an eye on this young team as they grow, develop, and gain more experience. Watch out!
